Is there a Restoration Req weapon....
I have looked all over the forums. I have checked what I could on Wicki. I have gone to weapons crafters in all the major outpost. I cannot find a wand or staff anywhere that has a restoration as the requirement for use. Why? I could understand it if Restoration was the classes primary attribute but it's not, Spawning is.
I use a restoration build for my rit, and seeing as I have 16 in that attribute it would only make sence for me to use a weapon with Restoration as a requirement.
Although it might not seem like a big deal, and I am fine for now with the spawning req weapon, it just doesn't seem right IMHO.

The same reason you don't see fast casting weapons for mesmers, or an expertise requirement bow, or a strength requirement sword for a warrior.

Actually they do exist. I have like 3 now. However I have only seen them on 'special' skins. You can only get them from drops...
Forbidden, Zodiac, and Ghostly staves are the only weapons I know of that can have restoration as a requirement.
Oh and by the way, MercenaryKnight, your reasoning is silly. Why should there not be a restoration req. weapon when they have a spawning req. weapon? What the hell is spawning damage?
Unless of course you mean that all classes have at least one attribute that has no weapon attached to it then, so be it. Even if that is actually not the case for the Ritualist...

I think what Mercenary Knight is pointing out is the fact that each classes primary attribute has no weapon with it's requirement. One exception being Monk with Divine Favor. Which as I stated I could understand. The problem with the statement is that Restoration is NOT the primary attribute on ritualist so that is not a viable argument.
Now your answer [frojack] answers my question. That there is actually a restoration req weapon just that they are very rare and not easily to come by.

Actually, they drop from a variety of weapons, not just rare skinned (I've found a number of one-handed scepters and two-handed staves, plain skins, etc.).
Unfortunately, there isn't a collector's, crafter's or green version of restoration requirement weapons anywhere.
Nice staff, Ark Claw. If it were 20% restoration, you'd have a goldmine there.

Wierd, that's the first time I've seen fire damage on a ritualist staff! I think there needs to be a 20% longer Weapon Spell duration as I can't think of many enchantments to use Excellent staff though

Actually, ritualists staves are odd in that they have all the different types of elemental damage (I currently have 2 communing staves - one with earth damage and one with lightning damage)...

There is nothing odd about Ritualist's weapons.
I have a Monk Divine Favor weapon that does fire damage and another one that does lightning. I also have a Smiting weapon that does fire damage as well.
The stupidist item I found so far is a Shield that has +1 Protection Prayers (x% chance (required 10 tactics)). Please tell me that isn't a cry for the justification of a WAMMO.
I've seen weapons, and I still have some that are for 1 profession, but gives you a chance to increase a level for another profession.

well, scepter and staff do random damage type other than elementalist and maybe necro, mostly are choas and the corresponding req type for them.
I got max damage Jade staff req 9 restore and deal earth damage, HCT of blood spell(19%), yes, blood spell. and HSR of all kind of spell(10%). currently max enchant mod with +4 energy head. And the staff is +10 energy on its own, nice staff i would say. Since my 'original' profession was Rt/N.

I had a purple Bo staff drop tonight in Bukdek Byway - 11-22 earth damage, +10 energy, +5AL, req 9 Restoration...
Very plain, but at least I have one!
Has anyone had a restoration wand drop?

That is a beautiful stave Excuse me whilst I drool over it.
I play restoration ritualist too and have been looking for a good req. restoration staff/wand.... they seem to drop with less frequency than staves or wands that require channeling, etc.
